FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Q. What is your average turnaround time?
A. We usually have diagnostics done within a day of you dropping off your system. Most computers are done within 2 to 3 business days. Some problems do take longer, some take less. We try to give every customer an idea of what kind of time they are looking at when they drop their system off and provide regular updates if it will take longer than our average 2 to 3 days.
Q. Where on Washington are you located?
A. We are located just south of downtown Naperville. Near the corner of Hillside and Washington. We are a few doors down from Salon 625.
Q. Do you Fix printers?
A. Not any more. We may make an exception for a laser printer. Please call for information.
Q. What can I bring in for recycling?
A. We will take any piece of electronic equipment. There is the fee for CRT monitors (see recycling page), but other than that, it's all FREE! Old Computers, laptops, keyboards, mice, printers, stereo equipment, VCRs, etc is all fair game.
Q. My Computer doesn’t charge the battery anymore. Another store told me it was a bad motherboard, can you fix it?
A. This is commonly caused by a bad DC jack on your system. Most big box stores will tell you this is a bad motherboard and will want $300+ for the part alone to fix it. Our technicians are able to fix these jacks, with the average repair totaling out at around $155, depending on the price of the replacement jack. Be advised that sometimes the breaking of the jack does break the motherboard, but 4 times out of 5, it's just a bad jack.
